As part of their expansion plans for their business in the coming year, Direct English Indonesia has today announced the signing of their first Direct English Unit Franchisee PT. Gitajaya Sejahtera for the city of Malang, East Java.
Direct English is the Linguaphone Group’s world-renowned English language program for adults, already delivered to thousands of students across Asia, Europe and the Middle East through a network of franchise partners.
Ms Eni Suhartini, Director of PT. Gitajaya Sejahtera will oversee the launch of Direct English in Malang which will be the first Direct English training center to open outside Jakarta to date. Direct English Malang will start delivering English language training for individuals and companies across the city from April 2014.
Created in 1997, Direct English combines highly interactive bilingual materials, with a program of personalised tutorials and conversation classes, and already delivers world-class English language training from beginners through the senior executive. Direct English has also recently announced a global collaboration with the University of Cambridge, which will see Direct English students across Indonesia also having the opportunity to take the University’s renowned BULATS test in their centers.
ITC Group of Companies were granted the exclusive Master Franchise rights to the Linguaphone Group’s English language training program for adults, Direct English across Indonesia earlier this year. ITC already has an impressive reputation in the Indonesia language training market, having provided English language training to the Indonesian workforce and student population since 2004.
As the existing Pingu’s English Master Licensee for Indonesia, they also provide the Linguaphone Group’s pre-school English language program, Pingu’s English to children across Indonesia through an expanding franchise network of nine Pingu’s English Schools.
